Our Transformative Mission Trip

Our Transformative Mission Trip

Praise God for the abundant blessings we experienced during our recent YLS mission trip to the Circle of Silence! Now that our team has returned, we are excited to share with you the incredible work God has been doing in this region. Our training sessions were filled with God’s grace, blessed fellowship, and fruitful discussions about following Christ in this unreached place. We humbly request your continued prayers as we believe this is just the beginning of His transformative work.

Our Transformative Mission Trip

The Power of Worship in Homes

In many parts of the world, gathering in a traditional church building on the Lord’s Day is not feasible for our brothers and sisters in Christ. During our mission trip, we had the privilege of joining our Christian friends in the Circle of Silence as they worshiped in their homes. We ask for your prayers as we continue to uplift one another and seek edification through worship in these intimate settings. May our hearts be humbled by God’s presence and His abundant grace.

One day of our mission trip was dedicated to partnering with a devoted brother in deep Mexico, who is fervently sharing the Gospel in his city. We ask for your prayers for the seeds sown, and that the gospel will bear much fruit even after we’ve left. Together with our local partner, we were witness to the transformative power of the Gospel touching lives and hearts.

Equipping Church Leaders for Mission

As believers, the most significant way we can serve alongside missionaries is by partnering in evangelism and leadership development. During our mission trip, we had the privilege of serving by equipping church leaders in the Circle of Silence. Through our shared experiences,

we aimed to encourage and empower these leaders to continue their vital gospel ministry. We had several training sessions geared toward discipleship and evangelism. Not only that, but we rolled up our sleeves and went into the harvest field alongside the leaders in training to do the hard work of disciple-making. Please pray that the leaders we worked with will be receptive and encouraged by our mission team, so that they may carry on the work of spreading the gospel in the Circle of Silence.

The Bottom Line

Our first of many mission trips to the Circle of Silence was an awe-inspiring experience, filled with blessings and the undeniable presence of God. As we reflect on this journey, we are humbled by the power of worship in home settings and the dedication of our partners in spreading the Gospel. Through equipping church leaders, we sought to empower and encourage them to continue their vital mission work. We are not finished yet, and there is much work to still be done. We invite you to join us in prayer as we support the ongoing efforts in the Circle of Silence, confident that God’s transformative work is only just beginning.
